Fall 2015

I decided to go to RED as I was looking to acquire a new skill set while waiting for my DAP to start in January. Since everything is going digital nowadays, I feel it is critical to gain knowledge about this exciting, blooming tech industry. My experience at RED was very rewarding. Not only did I learn a lot from class and the group capstone project, but also meet a group of talented individuals coming from different backgrounds.

Fall 2015

When we finished in December, I continued to keep learning on my own and in turn work eventually gave me the keys to car so to speak. Since then, I have been diving head first into all of our back end digital and have a good month of on the job with Adwords, analytics, tag manager, SEO, social media and the company has seen the skills I have gained. Everything I am grasping here in the real world is because of the instructors and RED.

What are the requirements?

Our requirements are more focused on a great attitude. Program-wise, we concentrate on a self-directed learning model. RED stands for Real Education and Development. We offer a totally unique approach to learning; our school more closely resembles a real-world agency than what you might expect in a traditional learning environment. Our curriculum is also very different in that it is designed to be highly active and experiential, which means that you are working in student teams on real-world projects with real clients from our network of community and charity partners, producing

Our instructors however, are really our secret sauce: they are highly experienced, real world professionals, and you will work in an environment that offers an amazing student to instructor ratio of 6 to 1.

What kind of students take your classes?

Our students are all across the board, from cognitive science students who are learning to code to dancers turned UX designers and everyone in-between. We have a lot of students who are recent graduates, people looking to switch careers, and entrepreneurs wanting to gain the technical skills to turn their ideas into reality.

Do you have a payment plan or any financing options?

Yes we do. You can either pay everything upfront, or you can pay 50% at the start of the program, and the remaining 50% over the duration of the program in three instalments. With the payment plan, there are some additional processing fees associated with setting this up.
