Today we’re spotlighting Grace Gadston, a UX and UI Designer who also works as a teacher’s assistant part-time.

This is Blueprint, Kismet Creative, Shanti Uganda Society , Gift-a-Green, BusinessTrip.
What’s your favourite project you’ve ever worked on?
ArrowTop Technologies, redesigning their onboarding process. It was challenging and we didn’t have much time, but I learned a lot while working on this. You can see all of my work in my portfolio.
What’s most interesting job you’ve ever had that wasn’t in the field?
What keeps you busy during the weekend?
Being a Teaching Assistant, Skyping my family and at some point, a beer always makes its way in!
What attracted you to RED?
The opportunity and the instructors attitude.
What do you enjoy about teaching?
Watching someone’s knowledge grow, along with their confidence.
Why would you recommend anybody to take this course?

Karina is an experienced UX and graphic designer with a primary focus on interaction design and product development. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Psychology, she originally started as a digital illustrator and gradually moved to web development and branding. Her biggest passion is working with startups and custom-built products, as it gives her a chance to work with different stages of the product, from visual identity, design, and branding to front-end development, market research and testing. She currently leads UX Professional and Foundation Programs.
